Can individualism save a dying industry?

Growing up, I relished books. I still love books, I purcharse them at a greater pace than I can read. There are currently three books on my nightstand table. A simple pleasure has been getting lost among the shelves of books in bookstores and libraries. Within those walls are thousands of characters waiting for you to befriend.

After the death of Borders and surge of e-retail, can James Daunt save Barnes & Nobles by doing away with utilitarian, cookie-cutter stores and embrace each locations authentic self? I think so.
